RAMON GENER

Born in Barcelona. He graduated in Humanities and Business Sciences. He began his training as a musician at the age of six studying piano at the Liceu Conservatory. Later, at eighteen, he began studying singing with the famous soprano Victoria de los Ángeles.

He completed his vocal studies in Warsaw with the baritone Jerzy Artysz and in Barcelona with the tenor Eduard Giménez. After a career of several years as a baritone he stopped singing and began a new stage as a music professor and commentator offering lectures on classical music and opera.

The echo of these lectures took him to the world of TV. First at regional level with the show "Ópera en texans" and then on the national and international scene with "This is Opera" (English and Spanish) and "This is Art" (English, Spanish and Catalan), «200, una noche en el Prado» (Spanish) and «Això no és una cançó» (Catalan), programs that can be watched in many countries around the world.

On the radio he regularly collaborates on the shows «No es un día cualquiera» on RNE, «Hoy por hoy" on Cadena SER and «Versió RAC1» on RAC1.

As a writer he has published, "Si Beethoven pudiera escucharme" (2013), "El amor te hará inmortal" (2016) and "Beethoven, un músico sobre un mar de nubes" (2020)
